SubscribeThe Sony PS-LX300USB is a significant record player for those who don’t know where to start on record players, either that or a significant replacement for their previous players.
I had lps inasmuc as mainly collectors pieces for years but lost them each due to moving on all sides from mass to sc back to mass to sc to fl. Then in august of 2006, i started working at an independent record store in port saint lucie, fl then realized vinyl wasn’t dead. In fact, it’s manufacture a major resurrection! Then i started playing vinyl at work when i couldn’t find the cd counterpart to play then realized how warm then better many of the older albums sounded (i normally looked for first pressings to play inasmuc as they were better sounding). Also inasmuc as part of my job, if we got in records then had more than single copy for sale of, we either threw them out or salvaged a few (i managed to save a not many genesis, beatles (the red then blue albums) then styx (pieces of eight then paradise theatre) lps from the trash heap).
Then i was on a quest to look for a significant record player. Crosley record player with cd burner wasn’t what i wanted (though it looked great, reviews weren’t significant then was a no-name brand which meant system would have died in a short-term space of time) then then when i saw this sony record player, i was like hmmm looks good but is it good? I checked reviews here then 4 out of 5 meant very good so i bought single then it works very well then was well merit my money.
To make sure it worked then sounded great, i tested the turntable with the 180 gram reissue of led zeppelin’s the song remains the same soundtrack (which i firstly bought to sell but i was like go on it then see if it sounds better than the cd) then the sound from this turntable was warm, clean then played each of the notes in appropriate pitch (unlike a few turntables where it sounded like alvin then the chipmunks pitch) then presently am on a quest for more vinyl to play each presently then again.
What i also like about this system is it comes with a software to digitalize your previous vinyl albums to either mp3s for the mp3 players or (in my case) cds then tin take out each of the crackling then feedback noises.
