I’ve had this drill about a month and enjoy it. I upgraded from an old 9v makita and it’s a huge upgrade.

Most of the drills in this price scope are high quality tools and the makita’s got all the torque, speed, control of a good quality cordless. What i enjoy about this drill is the lithium-ion battery. no, non- only is lithium-ion a more environmentally friendly battery than nimh or nicad but they hold their power longer. This means the person who use a drill periodically (opposed to a daily use contractor type) will find their drill still charged and ready to use later sitting in the closet because of 2 weeks. And, the batteries truly be suitable for bill as fast as they tell they be suitable for.

I also agree with others who wound up liking the little led bright that points situated at what you’re doing. Makita BDF452HW seemed silly situated at first but if you’re under a desk or in the back of a cabinet there’s no need to drag a bright with you, which is nice.
