I bought this during a lightning sale on a whim. Asked a new laptop to exchange my 3.5 year old HP laptop that was starting to freak away on me, only hadn’t done too much inquiry yet. For starters, the DVD/CD drive is extremely difficult to open. Not surely if I merely became a lemon, only I get to press Fashion too hard on the open button to get it to open and it takes several tries to do it. I fear this drive might not open completely soon. I’ve believed sending it back due to this concern, only believe it might exist too much of a hassle for something I’m not surely is a brobdingnagian problem. The other vexation is that, when I conveyed it away of “sleep” mode the other day, the screen started freaking away and showing some lines across it. Computer had to exist restarted and it’s worked fine since then. Perchance this was a one-time thing. Having had the computer for solely two weeks, I’m getting a bad vibe.

The other issue I have is that I’m not super comfortable applying the keyboard and mouse. It may only take getting used to. My old HP is very alike to this one as far equally the spirit and layout. dv6-6115nr Yet, the keys on this are rocky and make aloud clicking sounds when I character or press the mouse buttons. My old HP was more tacit when I typed and clicked the mouse buttons and seemed to exist more smooth when doing this. Also, when I move the mouse across the screen, it appears to glide faster than I base for it to. Like, I’m trying to mouse over a billet on my screen and the arrow SLIDES slenderly past the head I’m aiming for and I receive to coast it back. Form of annoying.

This laptop is amazing. I brought this laptop originally for HD Editing with Sony Vegas because I similar to do gameplay recording with my HD PVR. This laptop Rams through any programme you throw in it’s way. The Power management arrangement is amazing and a great add-on. It comes with a few pre-installed software, only it won’t be in your manner to badly. The gaming is also amazing, evening though it’s not specifically listed as a gaming computer. Played Boarderlands and GTA IV without a frame of lag. LOVE IT! Good reach of cost if your looking for something with a little power. Entirely hitch is ASUS A53SV-EH71 the keyboard doesn’t light up. Not a trouble for me though, only a heads up. Overall Keen Laptop by ASUS.
